One important doctrine of the Church that I am a member of, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is that we are in the Last Days before the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Regarding the time that it will happen, the only information we have is that no one knows when it will, but that disciples of Christ will discern the times and prepare.

It is my opinion that the signs are happening. I don’t when He will come, but since I believe the signs are happening, I want to prepare. I also want to help others to prepare.

That’s what this series of posts, or sermons, are about. It is about how to prepare for the Second Coming, as far as I understand.

My understanding will be flawed for sure; though I will try to defend my opinions, nothing I say should be taken as gospel. Instead, the reader should listen to the promptings of the Spirit as he reads to see what the Lord would have him do to prepare.

Obviously, this series is mostly aimed at members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I also invite all members of the human family to read this series and ponder what they may adopt to better their lives.
