If anger is the worst disease of the Last Days, the best cure is charity, the pure love of Christ.

No matter who they are, no matter what “tribe” they are affiliated with, no matter what they may have done to offend us, we must love our enemies; we must love all humankind.

And the reason that charity is the cure for anger is that it is difficult to be angry at those we love.

Mormon, a prophet in The Book of Mormon, said:

But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.

— Moroni 7:47

While I do not know the exact reason that it shall be well with any man or woman found possessed with charity, I personally think it is because charity is a shield against anger, which as we have seen, shall be the cause of most of the sin in the Last Days.

Those with charity will avoid such sin.

Not only that, but since charity is the pure love of Christ, it will definitely invite the Holy Spirit to be with us.

So pray to God to increase the charity in your heart towards all men and women. Strive to speak no ill of any person, whether in public or in private. Go even further and try to think no ill towards any.
