Introduction

Zion has been weighing heavily on my mind for the past four years or more, ever since President Nelson talked about the gathering of Israel.

I’ve learned a lot, and I believe the time has come for me to share what I have learned.

This is the introduction of a series of posts called Zion and the Law. The series will be written as though each post is a chapter of a book, but each post will also stand on its own to explain one or more aspects of Zion and how God’s Law makes Zion work.

This series will be ongoing; I will add posts as I learn more and get the urge to do so.

But I have another purpose: I have a vision (not seen a vision, mind you; I just have a vision in my own mind’s eye) of what Zion will be like, and I want to impart that vision in the hope that I can help more members of the Church catch the vision of what Zion may be like and desire to help build it.

I am not a Prophet, however, so my vision may be entirely incorrect and almost certainly is incorrect on details.

Let the Spirit be your guide as to what I get right and what I get wrong.

That desire is just as important as learning how to live in Zion.

So because talking about civilizations can be boring, and because I have a vision I want to share, this series will actually be a series of short stories, told from the perspective of characters who live in Zion after it is built.

Any similarity these characters have to any person, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

So please, come along with me, maybe even subscribe to receive posts in this series, and find out what Zion may be like.
